Walnut oil is an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Its benefits are only if it is unrefined, purely without thermal treatment.
Nuts are rich in phytonutrients and selenium, magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus. They deliver significant amounts of vitamins B1, B2, B3 and vitamin C. The health benefits of walnuts were discovered in 1937 when they were found to be a rich source of vitamin C. They are used for good nutritional balance of the body. Regular nutrition with nuts and walnuts reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, lowers total cholesterol, transformes bad cholesterol into good cholesterol. It also reduces triglyceride levels. It does not allow the deposition of atherosclerotic plaques on the walls of the blood vessels and thus reduces heart disease. Omega-3 fatty acids protect neurons and memory, preventing Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. They help prevent allergies, also help with vision problems as they are a major component of the retina of the eye.
These protective functions are due to the high concentration of alpha-linolenic acid (Omega-3) in walnut oil. This oil differs from other nut oils as it is mainly omega-3 fatty acids and the others contain more monounsaturated fat. One tablespoon delivers 1.4 grams of alpha-linolenic acid. Men need 1.6 grams of alpha-linolenic acid per day, and women – 1.1 grams.
Walnut oils are very rich in antioxidants, some of the best sources of antioxidants among the nuts. Contain antioxidant ellagic acid that controls the division of malignant tumors and has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. There are small quantities of gallic and malic acid. Regular use of walnut oil provides essential fatty acids to the body, which are difficult to deliver through the diet of modern man.

WALNUT OIL – WAY OF USE
Orally: adults: 50 drops, children over 5 years: 25 drops. The oil should be drunk 21 days a month, rest for 10 days, and then again be drunk for at least 3 months.
